Kelly Brynteson is an abstract artist with a passion for creating large original art. Raised in a small town in MN, Kelly admired the natural beauty of the country around her. Taking in that beauty, she started oil painting those country landscapes on saw blades with her dad. At that young age, she caught the artist bug and her love for everything creative was born. Kelly took every art class offered while in school. Here is where she experienced the use of different mediums from acrylics to ink to graphite pencil drawings. One large drawing was entered at the Minnesota State Fair and
won Best of Show. Kelly painted off and on throughout college. Following graduation, she created loft style paintings that she sold in Minneapolis, MN. Kelly took a hiatus from the art world with a move to Austin, TX. Years later, her corporate job challenged her to do a 'Start, Stop, Continue' in her personal life. To meet the challenge, Kelly dusted off her paint brushes and her passion for painting was reborn.
Kelly still searches everyday life for inspiration. Taking visual snapshots of color combinations that are mentally catalogued to use as inspiration for future paintings. Kelly enjoys using acrylics and mixed mediums to create single, diptych and triptych canvases to create one-of-a-kind abstract art. She is known to create paintings that flow together in perfect harmony that are aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Kelly's recent work is mainly commissioned where she works with clients listening to their wants and needs. Kelly uses that information to create custom paintings that transforms a clients' room. All of her paintings are created to match the modern art stream. Kelly strives for the best quality in both materials and finish. All of her paintings are hand-crafted with great care and are coated with fine art varnish to protect the
colors for extended time, and to ensure durability and protection against changes in room temperature.
